My name is Clare Kempe and I've been an employee of Gillons Insurance for over 7 years. I have been in the insurance industry since 2005 starting my career in the small Northern Ontario town of Schreiber. I have been working in Thunder Bay since 2011 when my husband and I moved back "home" with our family. For the majority of my career I have been working with Personal Lines clients making sure they have the coverage and protection they need for their lifestyle and family needs. I received my Registered Insurance Brokers license in 2005 and completed my Canada Accredited Insurance Brokers qualifications in 2014. Recently I expanded into commercial lines to better serve my clients needs in all aspects of their insurance requests. I have also been a team leader for more than 5 years, supporting brokers in our Thunder Bay office as well as two remote offices (Greenstone and Atikokan) with a focus on their development as brokers, providing tools to help them succeed. I have volunteered for many committees and organizations in Thunder Bay, including Coldest Night of the Year, Heart & Stroke, St Johns Ambulance Operation Red Nose as well as the local Insurance Board of Northwestern Ontario. I think it is important that brokers and brokerages are active in their communities to show clients that we care about the places we live and work.
